次の英文の和訳お願いします(>_<)

（ちょっと違うんですがまあ）彼は歯を食いしばっていた。

　　　「あなたの言ったことではなく、その言い方です」「なぜそういう風に言ったのですか？」「それは、何でも無いことは無い、明らかに何かある」と言ったようなコメントは、談話のメタメッセージへの反応である。

　　　　「世間話はいいから」「で用件は？」「いったいなぜ腹にあることが言えないのか？」と言った要請も一理あると思われる。

　　メタメッセージは、言外の意味、みたいなものですね。下記などご参考までに
