机で島を作ってください を英語で言うと？

現在、教室でスクール方式（黒板に向かって並列）で並べられている机を、グループ討議のために移動させて「島を作ってください」と英語で言う表現についてお聞きします。weblioなどでは机の島をfurniture clusterとしていますが、これを使ってPlease make 3 furniture clusters with the dest.として良いのでしょうか？ 机の数は３０個位あり、８人位で囲める島を３個作る予定です。実際にこのような状況(英語を母国語とする所)で机を移動した経験のある方に教えてもらえると助かります。また、討議が終わって元の状態に戻す際にはPlease put them(the desks) back to the previous position. で良いでしょうか？

机で3つの島を作って、8人ずつ座らせたいなら

Please move the desks to form three clusters. Eight people are seated on each cluster.

元の状態に戻したいなら
Please move the desks to the original positions.

(1) Please rearrange the desks and form three separate groups, roughly (of) the same size, (for a group discussion).

[注]
"of" は省いてもよいでしょう。
"for a group discussion" を入れることで配置換えの目的が明確になり、意図が伝わりやすくなると思います。

(2) Please put the desks back to their original position.　又は、
　　Please return the desks to where they were.
