問題文のdirectoryはdirectlyではないですか？
directory＝人名簿、directly＝直接に、まっすぐに

It is ～that...の構文で意味は ....は～です
It is not likely that ～は①
(～はありそうもない）

be associated with A＝Aとつながってる
she is directly associated with the politician.②
（彼女はその政治家と直接的につながってる）

①と②をつなげて
It is not likely that she is directly associated with the politician.
（彼女がその政治家と直接的につながってることはありそうもない）
