自分の視野を広げるために、国内のことだけでなく「世界に目を向ける」と言いたい時は、どう表現すると自然ですか？？

In today's world it is necessary to look at the problems and challenges which society faces from a global perspective. Countriesand cultures which until quite recently many people believed were far away andof little or no concern to their lives have suddenly become very immediate, closeand important. If there is such a thing as 'globalisation' in the early twenty-first century then we must be able to look at the world perspectives other than our own familiar ones. We must understand that much of what happens today in politics, economics and society is interconnected. What happens overseas is not remote. It can have a great impact on our lives.
