間違いのない正しい英文です。

ご参考までに次のような言い方もできます。
I think there will be more people driving electric cars than now.

"than they do now"は構文的に無理があると思いますね。

なお、次のような表現でも同じ意味になります:
The number of people who use electric cars will increase in the future.

"I think"は特に付ける必要はないでしょう。

"than they do now" で文法的にも構文的にも問題ないですから安心して下さい。

they do は、必要ないと思いますが。
