Each room has the fan heater that I use.

I was moving my cat along with me whenever I went to another room.

This was burdensome for me.

Also I sometimes turned on the AC for him while I was out.

So I wondered if there was a way to keep him warm without using a fan heater or an AC.

I looked for something better online and thought that a "cat kotatsu" would be good, so I bought one.

まず、時制についてはあなたがそう書いている文なのでいじりません。

それ以外で気になった箇所についてです。

I use three rooms.
→I have three rooms.
「使う」でなくてもこっちで分かります。

Each room has the fan heater that I use.
→Each room has a fan heater.
「各部屋」に「それぞれ」あるので、a fan heater
ここでもthat I useはなくても分かりますね。

I was moving my cat along with me whenever I went to another room.
→I took my cat whenever I moved to another room.
この方が文がすっきりしますが、ここだけが進行形の意味が「？」です。
過去形で十分です。

This was burdensome for me.
負担とか重荷…でいいですか？
→That bothered me.
それが私を悩ませた＝それが悩みの種だった。
または、
That was a pain in the neck for me.
Thisではなく、Thatです。

アメリカ人に「猫の炬燵」って言っても知らないでしょう。

アメリカに炬燵文化なんてないです。

アメリカのアマゾンで、キャット炬燵を検索しましたが、ありません。

だって、3つの部屋を使用して、ファンヒーターがあるんだろ？

別の部屋に行くたびに猫を動かしても、ファンヒーターがありますよ。

ACを使わずにって、猫の炬燵だってAC使いますよ。
