デバイスエラー

パソコン使用中に突然、ブルーの画面が出てきてしまいました。
過去の質問を見て、デバイスエラーなことは判明したのですが、具体的にどうすれば解決するのかがわかりません。どなたか教えてください。
ちなみに、OSはXPで、最近インストールしたソフトはADSL接続に必要な「フレッツ接続ソフト」というものです。
ブルー画面が出た後、再起動されるとフレッツ接続ソフトで通常の接続ができなくなります。
突然、ブルーの画面がでるのはIEを使用中リンクをクリックすると、おこることが多いようです。

「接続ツール」に原因が特定できているなら、

削除するとか、
修正パッチがあるならあてるとか、
最新版が出ているなら、それを使うとか…

周辺のデバイスも同様に、修正パッチ、最新ドライバ等を探してみてください。

WindowsUpDateも試してみるといいかもしれません。

物理メモリも念のためにチェックしてみるとイイかも

XPの場合、フレッツ接続ツールはVer2.xを使うか、または使わなくても接続はできるはずです。

ローカルエリア接続を使っても同様になるか試しましたか？また、メルコの一部のLANカードで障害があるようです。

概ね以下のようなことでしょうか。

Check to be sure you have adequate disk space
適切なディスクスペースがあるかチェックしてください。

If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
製造元のドライバの更新版がないかチェックしてください。

Try changing video adapters.
ビデオアダプタを交換してみてください。

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
BIOSの更新版をチェックしてください。また、BIOSのメモリオプションの
キャッシュやシャドウのオプションを無効にしてください。
