Costs To Get Doctors Help To Have A Baby In Japan?

Nice to meet you.
I already have one baby, but it took me six years to get pregnant. My husband and I have a large age difference.
I want to know how much it costs and the process to get artificial insemination.
Has anyone done it and how did it go?
Is it very expensive and difficult?

AIH itself is pretty simple and easy procedure, and the cost is relatively small, but you might have to go through series of tests before doing the procedure.

Costs, of course, varies by the institution,
Rough estimate for simple case at reasonable place would be something like,,,
1st menstrual cycle: blood test, semen test, US(Ultrasonogram), HSG(hystero-salpingogram) \25,000-\35,000
2nd menstrual cylce: USx2orx3,Ovulation diagnosis,progesteron management \25,000-\30,000
Some have to repeat 2nd cycle few times, others have to go to further stage.

If there exists other infertility problems, AIH might not be the answer. (Cost for ART could be very expensive.)
