次の文章の英訳について教えてください

私は英語が苦手で英訳に自信がないので、次の文章が意味の通じる文章かどうか教えていただけないでしょうか？よろしくお願いします。

(1)一つ教えてください（質問させてください）
→ Please tell me one thing.

(2)AとBで性質が違うことについて、どのような原因が考えられますか？
→ What can cause the difference of characters between A and B?

話し言葉と書き言葉(メール、書簡、正式文書)では相当違ってきますが、

今日は普通の書簡でと言うことでご勘弁下さい。

1)一つ教えてください（質問させてください）
→ Please tell me one thing.

I would like you to make up your kind reply to
my question as follows.

(2)AとBで性質が違うことについて、どのような原因が考えられますか？
→ What can cause the difference of characters between A and B?

I would like to have your (kind) comment on the probable
reason [cause] to the difference in characters
between AAA and BBB.

(kind) 省略可
[probable] 【形-1】たぶん～だろう、ありそうな、あり得る、
起りそうな
[cause] reasonの代わりに
difference in と続くのが「お約束」ですかな。

な感じで如何でしょうか?

「性質」とは物理的なものに言及しているとします。

(1)
My I ask you a(one) question? May I ask a question of you?
I have a question. シチュエーションによっては、 One question has been lingering on my mind. Perhaps you could help me. などなど。

(2)
What do you think is the cause of the difference in physical(内容によってchemical, thermodynamic, water など貴殿の内容によって）properties between A and B?

What could cause the difference in .... ? もちろん can　でもいいですがニュアンスが少し違ってきます。

What do you think can/could cause ( ... think causes) the difference in ....

What do you think could be possible reasons for the difference
in XX properties between A and B.

などなど。

物理的な「性質」ならpropertiesがいいと思います。

メールなどで聞くときの一例：

May we invite your thought/opinion about what causes/can cause/ could cause the difference in .... ?
