従属節が頭にくる場合の主語

”Because”から始まる従属節が頭にくる場合、
主節と主語が同じなら
（1）従属節のほうの主語を代名詞に変えることは可能ですか？
（2）また主語を省略することはできますか？

の方が

Because Tom did not attend, he could not graduate the high school.

より文法的に正しいです。　代名詞でない主語は主説に持ってくるべきだからです。

Not attending (もしくは　Having failed to attend), Tom could not graduate the high school .

の様な分詞構文も　構文上の問題はありません。

Tom could not graduate the high school, because he did not attend.

というふうな文があったとき，
Because he did not attend, Tom could not graduate the high school.
といえるかどうかというご質問ですね？
文法的に正しいかどうか知りませんが，通じるでしょう　笑。

主語を省略するというのは，下記のようにですか？
Because did not attend, Tom could not graduate the high school.
こりゃ無理でしょう。
Because of idleness, Tom...
などの工夫をすれば可能です。
