気づくの違い notice, aware, recognaize, know

気づいていたと言うときに色々な表現がありますが、どう使い分けるのでしょうか。例えばaware of, notice, recognaize, perceive, know etcの違い。また、以下のような表現はどれを使うのでしょうか。

１．自分の間違いに気づいていない
２．汚したの気づいているのに、知らん顔をしている
３．彼女に気づかない
４．私の思いに気付いてくれない
５．気付きが新しい発明をうむ
６．真っ暗で、石があるのに気付かなかった
７．彼があまりにも平静を装っていたので、浮気をしているのに気付かなかった。

No.１ さんに従い、CollinesCobuildDictionary を見ました。抜き書きです。
1. If you notice something or someone, you become aware of them. People should not hesitate to contact the police if they've noticed anyone acting suspiciously...

2. I noticed that most academics were writing papers during the summer...Luckily, I'd noticed where you left the car...
Mrs Shedden noticed a bird sitting on the garage roof...
She needn't worry that he'll think she looks a mess. He won't notice.

3. If you perceive something, you see, notice, or realize it, especially when it is not obvious. A key task is to get pupils to perceive for themselves the relationship between success and effort...

4. If you perceive someone or something as doing or being a particular thing, it is your opinion that they do this thing or that they are that thing. Stress is widely perceived as contributing to coronary heart disease...

No.2/4 です。

書き忘れました。
私の使った辞書 Collines Cobuild Dictionary はペーパーバックなら、たったの３７００円です。しかもＣＤ付です。必要な部分をコピーしたり、検索したり、論文の中に引用したり、使い勝手も大変よいと思います。
一方に於いて文法的解説は殆どなく、英文を読んで感じ、理解して行くという構成です。
東京なら、紀伊国屋などで売っています。出版物の推薦をしてもルール違反ではありませんよね。

あんまり違いはないと思いますが、ご参考です。

１．He does not realize his mistake. He is not aware of his mistake.
２．He is ignoring the stain even though he is aware of it.
３．He was not aware of her. He did not notice her.この場合、recognizeだと、気づかないではなく、見覚えがない、となります。
４．He is not aware how I feel. He does not know how I feel.
５．Recognition will lead to new inventions.名詞にするとKnowはKnowledgeになり「知識」になります。
６．It was so dark that I did not see the stone. In the dark, he was not aware there was stone there.
７．As he was acting normal, I did not realize he was having an affair.
結論からすると文脈によるでしょうか。ただ、recognizeは気づくというよりは、わかる、認識する、という感じです。

丁寧に教えていただきありがとうございます。自分で使い分けるとするとやっぱり難しそうですね。どんどん使ってみて、感触を掴んでみます。
一点だけ確認させてください。recognizeは前に知っていたことを再び知る（認識する）と辞書に書いてあるのですが、７の浮気はもともと知らないのでrecognaize以外が良いのではないでしょうか。
