free と bound

「free NH2OH」と「bound NH2OH」
「自由」「束縛(固定)」と訳してみたのですが、
これらがどんなものなのか調べられません。
ご存知の方、教えて下さい。


The pure culture of the Arthrobacter sp. was observed to accumulate up to 35.6 μg/mL of free NH2OH N, 4.8μg/mL of bound NH2OH N, 5.8μg/mL of NO2-N, and 2.4μg/mL of NO3-N.

Arthrobacter spの純粋培養では、自由なNH2OH Nの35.6までμg/mL、境界NH2OH Nの4.8μg/mL、NO2Nの5.8μg/mLおよびNO3Nの2.4μg/mL蓄積するのが観察されました。


When the Arthrobacter sp. was grown jointly with Corynebacterium sp., the concentration of NO2- and NO3- in the culture medium increased approximately 10-fold with no substantial accumulation of free and bound NH2OH.

Arthrobacter spとコリネバクテリアspが共同で増殖した時、培地中のNO2およびNO3の濃度は自由・束縛NH2OHの十分な蓄積のないときのほぼ10倍増加しました。

free＝遊離

bound＝結合

有機化学の実験などだと、こういうふうに訳していました。培養に関して全く知らないので、全然違ったらすみません。
