英語 次に会う時 の表現

次に会ったときに支払うよ。

など、「次に会ったとき」の表現方法が調べてみたのですが、解りません。
教えて頂けますでしょうか？

ちなみに、前回会ったときは、
when I last saw you というのが１つ見つかったのですが、これが普通でしょうか？
もし他にもあれば教えて下さい。

次の様に言うこともできます。

☆ the last time S + V ..., S + V ...の例

* The last time I made it, you couldn't eat it because it was too spicy. Remember?
前これ作った時、辛すぎてあなた食べられなかったんだよね。覚えてる？

* The last time I visited XX, they didn't look very interested in our new products.
《レ》この前XXを訪問した時、彼らは新製品にあまり興味がなさそうでした。

☆ last time S + V ..., S + V ...の例

* Last time I went home, it seemed as if everyone knew the news.
このあいだ里帰りしてみると、誰もがそのニュースを知っているみたいだった。

* Last time I went, the lines were too long.
最後に行った時は、行列がとても長かった。

の様な例がありますから、(the) last time が接続詞で使えることが分かります。

☆ next time S + V ..., S + V ...の例

* Next time I go to Nagano, I'll take the Shinkansen.

の様に (the) first time も接続詞として使えることが分かりますが、the first time S + V ...で使うことの方が多いようです。

また、これらは、どれも、time が名詞ですので、主語になって、

* The first time he ever saw a television was when he was six years of age.
彼が初めてテレビを見たのは、6歳のときだった。

「次に会ったとき」

"When I see you next..."
"When I next see you..." でも構いませんし、
"When we next meet..." でもＯＫです。
（"When we meet next..."） でも通じます。

「前回会ったとき」
"When I last saw you..."
"When I saw you last..."
"When we last met..."
（"When we met last..."）
