疑問詞+Ｓ+Ｖ 疑問詞+不定詞

表題の通りです。

(1)疑問詞+Ｓ+Ｖで表す文法は色々あると思いますが
If what you say, I can not believe it.
のような使い方の場合、何か名称はありましたか？
例えば間接疑問文とか・・・


(2)how you say や　what you say は
どのようにいうか、何を言うか　との訳だと思いますが
疑問詞+不定詞で
how to say や　what to say でも代替が利きますよね。
使い分けをすべき時なのははどのような文なのでしょうか。


それらを受けての最後の質問なのですが
　however や　no matter howでの使い方です。
「あなたがどのような支払い方（現金でもカードでも）をしても、料金は一緒です(変わりません)」
との文を英作したいのですが、
真っ先に浮かんだのが　

If how you pay,the charge is same(the charge doesn't change)なのですが

これは文法上、正しい英文でしょうか。


また、その後にhoweverやno matter howなどを知り、これも使えるのではないかと思いました。

No matter how you pay,the charge is same.

しかしながら、no matter how　だと　「どんなに○○しようとも」ですよね？
「どんなに支払おうとも」となってしまうと量的な物を提示するだけで、
「どんな方法でも」という手段を問うこのケースでは不適切だと思うのです。
それとも　whatever や　nomatter what にすれば良いのでしょうか。

私が英作した文が文法上、そして表現方法として合ってるかどうかすら怪しいものですが、
あくまでまだまだ勉強中の者の文としてご容赦下さい。

Where are you from?　疑問文
Tell me where you are from.　間接文

このwhere you are fromは節なんだから、if（接続詞）の後に節を持って何が悪いの？が質問なのかな？

ポイントは、確に（名詞）節ではあるが、 「これらは文中で、 主語、目的語/前置詞の目的語、補語になります」

what you sayは文中で”主語・・補語”扱いになるが節にはならぬからダメであるということかな。

If what you say is ture, I believe it.　　
what you say=主語だからOK
If you tell me what you believe, I believe it.

文中での話としての回答です。wh－の疑問詞の後にto不定詞(what to, how to, etc.)をもつことができる。Practical English Usageによれば(This structure express ideas such as obligation and possiblility.) 義務と可能性を表す。
例題：
I wonder who to invite (= ..who I should invite.)
Show me what to do.
Can you tell me how to get to the station?
(=..how I can get to the station?)
I don't know where to put the car.
Tell me when to pay.
I can't decide whether to answer her letter.
但し、whyが使われるのはまれ。
BUT NOT： I can't understand why to do it. 間違い

だから
What do you mean?
I have no ieda what to do. とは言うが
I have no idea what to mean.　とは言わないと言うことであろう。

という意味でならば問題ない。

sameの使い方。この場合は代名詞でtheが必要。

If what you say, I can not believe it.　は冷静に考えれば何を言いたいのか分かりませんね。
ちなみに　　what you say は節にはならないという点、ここは私の根本的な理解不足かも知れません。
2語以上からなり、SVを含むものは全部、節だと思っていました。

→残念ながら、この文は文法的に正しくありません。
Whatever you say, I cannot believe it.とかすればあっています。
I don't know what you said.
→この場合は、
what you sayの部分を間接疑問文ととるか、
(あなたが何といったかは知りません）
あるいは関係代名詞whatの節ととるか、
（あなたが言ったことは知りません）
2通り考えられます。

(2)how you say や　what you say は
どのようにいうか、何を言うか　との訳だと思いますが
疑問詞+不定詞で
how to say や　what to say でも代替が利きますよね。
使い分けをすべき時なのははどのような文なのでしょうか。
→how to say, what to sayの類は間接疑問文を簡略化した句だと言えます。
I don't know how to say "doji" in English.
I don't know how we can say "doji" in English.
このようにhow to sayには主語や時制、また助動詞の意味などがありません。
その分、直接的な言い方とも言えます。使い分け？ーーどっちでもいい場合が多いと思いますが。
