下記の文章は間違っていますか？

正しい文とすれば

howと置き換えて考えれはよいのですか？
それとも、添付辞書の何番目の使い方になりますか？

• １）なるほど、Advent祭だったんですね。
  ＞3) のほう、How can I do these は How can I do these books のことですが do booksとは何のことかピンと来ません
  How can you do those things? と言える。thingsがbooksになっただけで何らおかしな文ではないですよ。但し、前置詞の脱落の可能性もあることは否定はできません。
  
  ４）御意。ifのミススペルですね。
  
  ５）しっかりした記事の7thパラグラフですので貴兄の読み方は間違いであろうと思う。

それぞれの文は互いに関連はないようですが、ご質問の趣旨はご指摘の文にでてくるような What can + 主語 + do + itのような代名詞, いった形が文法的に正しいかどうかということと思います。

正しくない、というのが私の回答です。挙げられたそれぞれの場合の内容がばらばらのようですから、それぞれについて説明します。

１）What can you do this Advent to prepare for the coming of that day?
この場合、this はadventにかかり、例えば What can you do this Xmas『このクリスマスには何が出来るか』と同じで『きたるキリストの降臨には何が出来るか』です。時に関係する言葉は時をあわす前置詞がしばしば省略されます。

２）and what can you do it and … 2番目の文中では、what can you do about it または what can you do with it の about か withが抜けたものです。そうでないと説明つきません。

３）they're like, 'what can I do these, 3番目の文中でも、上記２）と同様　what can you do about it または　what can you do with it　の　about か　withが抜けたものです。そうでないと説明つきません。

４）So what can you do it ...　 ４番目の文章をググってみるとヒットします。この so what can you do it の it は明らかに if の誤りです。そうすると文章の意味が通じます。

5) I feel shame to write these lines but what can I do this is the reality, 最後の文中のこの箇所ですが、I feel shame to write these lines but what can I do, this is the reality のように文としては doで切れ、this is the reality と続くわけです。これで意味が通じます。

2) において How can you do it　とすれば自然ですし勿論意味は通じます。

3) のほう、How can I do these は How can I do these books のことですが do booksとは何のことかピンと来ません。文としては What can I do with (about, for etc) these booksのほうが自然で、私these books の前の前置詞が抜け落ちていると思います。

最初のご質問にありましたｗhatがhowの意味で使われるかどうか、いう点については辞書をいろいろ調べた訳ではありませんが、まずそういうことはないと思います。

時を示す前置詞がなくてもおかしくない例を思いつくまま少しあげます。

this summer, this Xmas, this Mardi Gras などなど。これらの言葉は this（来るべき）があることにより時期が特定されます。this Adventも同類です。do this situation は situation という言葉自体が漠然としすぎで変です。

よく考えてみるとwhatをhowに置き換えられるがwhatとして成り立つのかと聞かれると何とも答えられないことも確かです。前置詞の脱落として考えた方がよいのかもしれませんね。
