1If we get marrid in Japan, either of us must change our famiy names to the other's under the civil law.
2If we get marrid in Japan, we must change either of our famiy names to the other's under the civil law.
1及び２について、文法的に文意をなすのか、Japanese pepopleを主語にしたとして、either of them must change his or her（their） family names to the other'sとしても両方の名前が変わるわけではなく、family names（複数でも）一方に変わるとの文意に誤解を生じないでしょうか？よろしくお願いします。

とすれば、通じるかな。
名前を変えるのは、どちらか一方だけなので単数。
