should have to wait

There is no reason why we should have to wait.
という文がありました。should must とはできないので、should have to としてあるのでしょうが、そもそも、should も have to も同じような意味なので、should wait か have to wait でいいのではないでしょうか？　should have to wait としたら何が違うのですか？

待たなくてはならなくなるようにさせる理由などない。

must には過去形がないから、

There is no reason we must wait.
が
There is no reason we had to wait.
になる。

should はまあ、入れなくても良いけど、入っていると「待つべきだった理由はない」の「べき」が若干強調されるのかな？
