Bitcoin is a form of digital money that was introduced in 2008 by an unknown programmer with the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.
A bitcoin is not a solid piece of metal,but is like a file which is saved on a computer or smartphone.
You can buy bitcoins online with traditional money like yen and dollars.
Before doing this,you need to download a personal bitcoin wallet which you save on your computer or smartphone.
This wallet stores all the bitcoins you own.

ビットコインは、2008年にペンネーム「サトシ・ナカモト」（本名は不明）という名前のプログラマーが導入した電子通貨の一種である。

ビットコインは、固体金属ではなく、コンピュータやスマートフォンに保管されているファイルのようなものである。

ビットコインは、本来の通貨である円やドルにより、オンライン上で購入することができる。

オンライン上で購入できるようにするためには、自分のコンピュータあるいはスマートフォンにビットコイン専用の財布をダウンロードする必要がある。

自分が持っているビットコインは、すべてこの財布の中に保管される。
