若干ややこしい英訳をお願いします。

刃物のグリップは紐(ひも)で巻いてあります。

昔のプロの美容師さんは、厚みのあるグリップを好みましたので、
竹や厚紙でグリップを覆い、その上から紐を巻きつけました。

状態がとても良いので、紐を解かずに出品しました。

もしあなたが別のグリップにしたいときは私に伝えてください。

The grip of the knife is wrapped with a string.

Because a lot of old professional beauticians preferred thick grips, the grip was often covered with bamboo or cardboard and then wrapped with a string.
Because the knife is in very good condition, I have decided to exhibit it without unwrapping a string.

Professional beauticians of the past preferred bulky grips so they covered the grips with bamboo pieces or thick paper and used ropes on top.

The original rope grip is well preserved and I present it as is.
