まじめに考えてみたら「Hawk」

架空キャラでいいなら「Angry Birds」

避妊の鳥はまだどこにもみあたらないようなので、推薦するなら、コンドームの宣伝キャラになった「Angry Birds」。どのキャラもみんなこわい「hawk-eyed」の目をしてますから、転じて避妊の象徴は「Hawk（タカ）」でいいとおもいます。「Hawk」は「protection」や「guardianship」のシンボルといわれているようです。コウノトリの天敵かどうかはわかりませんが、コウノトリがはこんでくる幸せを守るためにも、タカさんにあやかってしっかり計画をたてましょう…的な？

Hey okwaveko,

If you knew the answer, why did you ask? Why don't you email the guy who authored the page and ask him if it's true? I didn't hear any mentioning of swallow meaning contraception. That sounds like a sick joke to me but maybe this guy at the web site coined it. I don't know and I don't care. At least it's not commendable to link your answerer to the page that shows:

1. The probable answer the asker had already found.
2. The content that may be offensive to some viewers, esp. to a girl like me.

As far as I know, I've never seen a box of condoms with a picture of any bird on it. That gives you a hint: no one has ever thought of a patron bird of contraception. Could be your opportunity to cash in on it, I don't know; like I said I don't care. Just don't test the answerers.

It's a too dirty joke.

It uses the double meaning of "swallow". One is a bird.
Another is a verb, which is used for "sucking" or "drinking".
What to be swallowed is used to fertilize, if not swallowed.
