Stepping on animal droppings in your dreams is actually lucky since you rarely actually step on one let alone dream of it.

こじつけしかできないので無理ですね（笑）

In Japanese, the words for animal dropping and to have stepped on share the same sound "hun" so people in Japan sometimes say that it's actually good luck to dream of stepping on animal droppings.
