ニュアンスが、若干違うかもしれないけど、、、

とかでも。

Strong, major, bigの順で使われていました。

過去最大の意味では
Biggestが使われ、Strongestはあまり使われていませんでした。

５０年ぶりを　
in this 50years, in these 50 yearsのどちらも使われますが、この場合は、最近の５０年を
ひとまとめとして、単位のように扱っているのでThisとしました。

主語が長いですが、読み返すとそんなに違和感はありません。
