日本の次期総理大臣は、菅官房長官に
決まり、９月１６日から就任すること
になりました。
３人候補のうち、彼が当選すると
私は予想しておりました。
日本の政治のために尽力をつくして
こられ、国民の信頼も厚い特性を
今後も活かし、日本の政治、経済の
新たな発展を願うばかりです。
また菅さんは秋田県出身で、秋田は
私の故郷でもあるため、秋田県から
初めて総理大臣が誕生し、私はとても
嬉しいです。

Thank you for the message.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga has been elected as the next prime minister
of Japan. He'll be taking office starting on September 16th.
Out of the three candidates, he's the one I'd been expecting to win.
Mr. Suga has been working hard for the good of the Japanese government and he has built real trust with the people.
I sincerely hope that he leverages his experience to bring new political and
economic advancement to Japan.
Plus, Suga is from Akita prefecture, and he'll be the first prime minister
to come from there. I'm also from Akita, so I'm really glad to see it.
