英語の質問です。connect with , connect to の違いをお教えてください。どちらも、〜に接続する のような意味ですが、ニュアンスの違いなどを教えて欲しいです。

connect with

こちらのほうが多く使われています。
また多くの場合、with の後に来るのは人間です。
人とのつながり、で使われます。
He was not connected with the gang that robbed the bank.

connect to
こちらは物理的に繋ぐ感じです。
The printer is connected to the computer's USB port

ただ絶対に使い分けをすしなければならない言葉ではなく、
入れ替え可能です。
connected to the audience のようにも使われます。

①　connect to : 電気製品や電話をつなぐ、という意味で使われる。

②　connect with : 電車や飛行機の乗り換え、接続、という意味で使われる。
