「試練は越えられる人にしか与えられない」の原典と英語原文が知りたいです

私の好きな言葉に「「試練」は越えられる人にしか与えられないんだ。神様が君を選んだ。だから君は絶対に越えられる。」というのがあります。知人から聞いた言葉なのですが、元々は聖書の言葉らしいのです。それは本当なのでしょうか。もしそうなら、この好きな言葉をかみ締めるためにも、その聖書の一節が知りたいのですが、どなたかご存知でしょうか？！

新約聖書の中の1節――コリント人への手紙第1　10章13節――ですから、原語は古典ギリシャ語です。

聖書はよく知りません。

思い浮かぶのは
"Heaven helps those who help themselves."のみ。
