butterscotch pie (´・ω・`)

the sound barrierを突破したのはわかりますが、butterscotch pieは関係が無いような気がします。何かのスラングですか？

うん、直接は関係ないと思う。

インタビュー記事でchuck yeagerとの間で出た話を
タイトルで少し出して遊んでいるんでしょう。

添付辞書の他の番号でなく3番の解釈にbutterscotchは

The unholy union of butter and scotch. One of the few alcoholic dairy products. Exercise extreme caution.とありますがこの、 Exercise extreme caution.を引っ掛けてbutterscotch pieと言っているような気がします。
