日常会話での一文なのですが、どのように英訳すればいいか教えて
ください。

5月10日の午前中は会社に出勤しました。
「I went to work in the morning May 10th」でいいのでしょうか？

Oxford University Press 'A Practical English Grammar' の日本語版『実例英文法』の「時に関する前置詞」という項に、「ある特定の日の午前／午後／夕方／夜に…は"on the morning/afternoon/evening/night of a certain date"である」となっており、以下の例文が示されています。

"We arrived on the morning of the sixth."（6日の朝着きました）

ですから、御質問の文は"I went to work on the morning of May 10th."が正しいということになります。

この文意は，出勤したという移動をいいたいのではなく，会社にいたという存在を示したいのだと思います。

だから，

I was at my office (または work place など）で十分なのではないですか。
