その点

「彼とはもう3年もあっていないから少し頼み事をしにくい。その点、君とはちょくちょくあっているわけだし、何の気兼ねも要らない」とはどういいますか？「その点」ってどういう風に言えばいいのでしょうか？またそういうことを調べられる良い辞書ないでしょうか？
I am reluctant to ask him for a favor since i have not seen him for almost 3 years...but i often see you and can ask you anything

その点、というのは「それに比べて」とか「一方」という感じに訳せばいいと思います。
on the other hand「一方」

be reluctant to do
～するのに気乗りがしない、しぶしぶ～する、
というのもいいですが、

hesitate to do
ためらう、を使ってもいいかも。


I hesitate to ask him for favor because I have not seen him for 3 years.
On the other hand,I ofetn meet you,so I can ask you easily.


という感じはいかがでしょうか。

アメリカに35年ほど住んでいる者です。

私なりに書かせてくださいね.

先ほど、もう一人の方にも書かせてもらいましたが、言い方が分からない時は、同じ事を他の日本語で言ったらどういうか、と言う事を考えてください.

その点、として、in ragard to that point/matter,としてもいいですが、

それに較べて、compared to that
しかし、but
逆に、on the contrary
それに対して、　on the other hand
興味深い事に、interestingly
聞きたくないかも、even though you may not want to hear from me<g>
等の言い方が出来ますね、

何の気兼ねも要らない、=もっと気兼ねなく頼めるI feel a lot more comfortable to ask youも使えますね.

と言う事で、、全文を書くと、

I have not seen him for at least 3 years and that makes me hard to ask him, xxxxx（上の例句）I feel a lot more comfortable to ask you.

It's been 3 years since I saw him last, xxxxx, you are here in front of me all the time. So it is much easier for me ask you for a fovor.

3 years is a long time for me to ask him for a favor. xxxxx I see you often/all the time/more often and I feel I can ask you without feeling too bad. <g>

I do not feel comfortable to ask him a favor because I have not seen him for the last 3 years. xxxx how lucky I am to see you all the time! I can ask you for a favor without feeling hesitated too much.

全て同じフィーリングですね.　ただ、違う言い回しだけです.　日本語でも、このように同じフィーリングを違う言い方ができるはずです.

と言う事で、辞書はありませんが、あなたの知っている「使える日本語」を使えばいいと思います.

I do not want to ask him something since I have not met him at least for three years.

As for you, I see you from time to time and can ask you anything I want.

ここでは、彼じゃなくて「君に」視点をおいていると考えて上のようにしました。
「その点、君の方は」って言う感じです。

あいにく期待通りとは違うかもしれませんが英辞郎では、英和・和英兼用です。
「その点」を入力すれば、幾つもの言い方が出てきます。

英作文は「英借文」とも言われます。知っている構文・語法を増やし、英文を作るのも一案かと思います。
