家が貧しくても、体が不自由でも、決して失望してはいけない。

野口さんのこんな素晴らしい言葉、初めて知りました。
早速英語で表現してみたいと思い立ちました。

Never desperate even you are poor family, even you are deficient
Happiness or unluckness are things that you make by yourself.
You must recognize, peoples and situations arround you are shadows that you have made up.

　また書いてみますね。

モチベーションを引き出す事にはそれだけのパワーを持っているものです。　この日本語にはそれがありますね。

人生とは自分が作るもの、と言うアメリカのモチベーションの基本中の基本ですので、この文章を理解する事は難しくはないと思います。

影とは虚像ではないのです。　自分の分身なのですね。　横に向けば横を地面に浮かびだしてくれます。　この理解があれば、周りの人も周りの状況も、自分の影でもある。と言う事がわかり、自分だけでなく自分の回りを作っていくことができる、と言う事なのです。

言い換えれると、minomar11さんが感じている事が彼の影であり、彼が作った影なのです。　この言葉が彼なのですね。　なぜ、キリスト教でキリストの言葉は「彼」と言われているのか、全く同じ考えなのです。　そして、野口英世と言う名前が死んでからも生きているわけです。　名前を忘れても彼のいってきたことが「生きている」のです。　

私がこのカテで(武道のカテでも)「生きる」という事は「自分を生かす」と言う事だ、と言ってきた事なのです。　死は来るもの、しかし、言葉には死と言うものをなくす事ができる、と言う事なのです。

それだけ、言葉にはパワーがあるのです。

と言う事で、この日本語文を「私なり」にモチベーションクラスで使うとすると、

There is no need to get depressed or lose your potential only because you are financially poor or physically handicapped.

Life happiness or poorness is something you yourself create and build.

People around you or situation you are in,
is actually what you are and develop, you have to realize and this fact.

となるわけです。

How many of you think you are so financially and physically underprivileged?

There is no need to accept this thought, that you need to recognize you actually have made the non-sense thought yourself.

You, only you are born to build your own life, nobody else does make it for you or give it to you. You can, yes, you can make it better or worse all by yourself.

Further, I want you to know your life can and will change the lives of others. Making your life meaningful automatically affects the people around you and their situation they are in.

Take charge in your life. Be the best in anything you do for others to be the best as well.

と言う感じかな。

人を見下げるのではなく、人に見下げられる事を気にせずに、自分を向上させる事にエネルギーを使う事でみんなから認められる事に「自然」になるのです。　自分だけできても全く意味のない事なのです。　自分の実力を見せ付けたところでどうにもならない事であり、自分の持っているもの全てを分け合える事で「自分の影が実際に会えない人にも幸せ」を導く事になるのですね。　だから誰でもがんばらないと「もったいない」のです。

自信ないけど、こんな感じにしてみました。

No matter how poor your family may be, no matter how crippled you are, you must not despair.

Whether joy or hardship, it is the result of what you have brought upon yourself in your lifetime.

Understand that everyone around you, and all circumstances surrounding you, are but reflections of your own creation.

うーん、そのような日本語の雰囲気を英文にかもし出すには、ネイティブで文才がないとむずかしいと思います。

が、こういった内容の英文化が一番英語力を求められる気がしますね。内容を自分なりに解釈して、受験英語育ち（？）のトライです。

Don't make excuses that you are handicapped or your family is poor. You are responsible for your own life, and whatever happens and the people you encounter, good or bad, will be the result of your actions and way of thinking. You should not complain about them.

日本語の感じがまったくないですな。ビジネスライクな英文になってしまって・・・

birdflewさん、「身から出た錆び」だと悪いことを示唆しますが、ここではいい面に関しても、という意味と思います。ぜひ、ネイティブの語感を入れた回答を期待してます。「自分から作りだした影」をliterally（？）に英訳して原文の意味（これとて私の解釈が間違っているかもしれませんが）を出すのは無理な感じを受けるのですが・・・

Don't give up your hope nor your future.

Only you but no one else makes you happy,
Only you but no one else makes you unhappy.

You should understand
that every situation or everyone around you is just a shadow
