以下の2節に間違いが見受けられましたが、それ以外は良いと思います。

ホオジロザメがものを調べるように、実際に好奇心の強い動物であると、マーティンのようなサメ研究者は仮定する。　→　ホオジロザメはものを調べるのが好きな実際に好奇心の強い動物であろうとマーティンのようなサメ研究者は考えている。


It's possible that they use their bite not only to kill and eat, but also to gather information.

ホオジロザメが殺すためでも、また、食べるためでもなくて、情報も集めるために噛むことは、あり得る。　→ホオジロザメは殺して食べるだけではなく情報を集めるためにも噛むことは、あり得る。
