★the researchとしてしまうと、この文の前に何も研究についての言及がなければ、それしかないみたいになりおかしなことになります。some researchとか、researchだけでとりあえずいいと思います。通常は、the latest researchとか、research conducted in Kansaiとか、何か修飾語句をつけたい感じもします。
★put onは着る・身につけるという1回の動作を表し、wearは着ている状態を表します。ですから、この場合はwearを使います。
★学校のことをどう思うかというならthinkでもいいでしょうが、positive thinkingとなると、積極的に考えることになり、この場合ちょっと合わない感じがします。イメージならいいので、そちらを使いたいと思います。反対にnegative imageを持たないわけですから。

Not only it but also School uniform has big influence.
添削→Not only that, but School uniforms also have big influence to the students who wear one.

「それだけでなく制服は大きな影響力がある」のnot only～School uniformがおかしいですね。

このままでは「研究によると制服を着る生徒は学校に対して良いイメージを持っている」ことと「制服」に「大きな影響力がある」という意味になってしまいます。
前述のことに加えて別の事象がある場合は、in additionなどを使います。
よってIn addition, School uniform has (a) big influence.
などとすればよいでしょう。aはどちらでもいいです。

あと、「制服がない、頭のいい高校を聞いたことがない」のところの
I've ever～　のeverはneverですね。
このままだと聞いたことがあることになってしまいます。
