Q. 専業主夫は日本ではありふれた存在になるだろうか。
あなたの意見を100字以内で述べなさい。


A.
I don't think they become common in Japan.
In the past, it was thought that men should work to support their family financially and women should do houseworks such as cooking or taking care of children.
As society has come to change this idea is also changing, but it still remains today.
And Japanese men often worry how they are thought by people around them,
so they can't ensure to be regard as a person who gave up his career and lack of ambition and commitment.
With these reasons, it is different for them to stay at home.

のところが微妙かな、と思うのですがどうでしょうか？
他のところも直すべきところがあれば教えてください｡

NO.1 さん　の答えで完璧だと思います。

ただ、質問者のコツとして、　質問者は”それに加えて”という意味でANDを文の初めに使っています。文の初めをANDで始めるのは避けたほうがいいです。だからFurthermoreとかIn addition　などの接続詞（というのかな）を使ったほうがいいです。　接続詞（？）をうまく使えると、英文が読みやすく、流れがよくなります。接続詞（？）を覚えることをお勧めします。

As society has come to change this idea, that has to be changed, but (it) still remains today.

なら文法解釈ができる。

by people around them ⇒ by the people around them or other people

ensureは他動詞　cant't ensure to be自動詞として使っていため意味をなさない。
ensure that
ensure A B
ensur B for A
が基本てきな構文になる。

I don't think house-husbands are becoming more common in Japan.

In the past, it was thought that men should work to support their family financially whereas women do houseworks such as cooking or taking care of children.
This idea should be changing as society changes, but it still remains intact in Japanese society today. Men tend to worry how they are seen by the people around them.
They don't want to be seen as a person who has given up his life and lost his ambition and commitment to the family.
It is different for them to stay at home for these reasons.
