関係代名詞節（従属節）の中の時制

次の文章を英語にするときの時制を教えてください。

『小誌5月10日号）で、既報のとおり、Kaoriiさんは7月に公開されるD氏が監督するドキュメンタリー映画の制作に、ボランティアとしてかかわってきた。』

試訳
We reported in the May 10th issue of our magazine that Kaori got involved in the production of the documentary film which is directed by Mr. D and will be released in July as a volunteer.

と訳したのですが、疑問なのは、which is directed by Mr. D and will be released in Julyが現在時制で正しいかという点です。また、その他になおすところがある場合は、御指摘ください。

時制としては、特に間違えではないと思います。「制作された」と言う行為と取れば過去形が相応しいですし、「制作されたもの」と言う状態と取れば現在形でいいと思います。

あと、as a volunteer の位置が文末ではおかしく、日本語で、「ボランティアとしてかかわってきた」となるのと同じで、got involved の前後に置く方がいいと思います。
