If I try to say in English " この歌詞は切ないですね”、is it wrong to say like this below ?

歌詞が切ないですね....だから、好きです！
This lyrics of the song seems a painfully sad? singing voice...so I love it ★☆

Possibly, but 'painful' could mean 'hard to listen because it's bad'.

How about 'this song touches my heart' 'sympathetic' etc, or 'it's about a painful love story'.

oh, I'm little bit surprised that the word painful can mean " hard to listen because it's bad ".
oh , it seems negative expression !!
I should have written like that.

If I say , "this song tocuhed or (touches) my heart" (私を感動させる), I think it may not be what I have tried to say..

Additional details.
I looked up the wrod" setunai" in a dictionary .
I have done before asking you.

切ない（悲しさ・寂しさなどで、胸が締め付けられるような気持ちだ。）
感傷（物に感じて心をいためること）
From a Japanese dictionarly.
