売上を1.8倍、または2倍にする ことができない

こんにちは

我々は売上を1.8倍、または2倍にする
ことができないという場合。

We will not be able to achieve 1.8 times higher sales than current level or double sales
でよいのでしょうか。

sales が2回使用されている不自然に感じるのと、than current levelをdouble salesの方にかけれないので悩んでいます。

宜しくおねがいします。

We will not be able to double our sales, let alone achieve an increase of 80 per cent.

「我々は売上を2倍にするどころか、80％増（1.8倍）を達成することもできない。」

という言い方もあります。

　これですとご心配されておられるように、現状のレベルか2倍の売り上げに対して1.8倍とも受け取れてしまいそうです。まず近い文章で考えてみます。

We will not be able to grow the sales 1.8 or 2 times higher than the current　business performance.

　他の言い方も考えてみます。

We will not be able to increase the (current) sales volume by another 80% or 100%.

Our business performance will (likely) not (be able to) increase by 1.5 or 2 times.
