【問題】松島は仙台から来るまでわずか一時間の有名な観光地ですが、観光シーズンにこの町を訪れようと思ったら、車では行かないほうがいいでしょう。
【自分の回答】Matsushima is a popular tourist destination that it takes only a hour to go there from Sendai by car, but if you want to go during the tourist season, you should not get on your car.

go は使わないほうがいいように感じます。

このような場合は visit のほうがいいでしょう。
