海外ホテルへの問合せメール

パリのホテルに問い合わせをしたいのですが、
英語力に自信がありません。


・4/21～4/26 間、5泊したい
・2人利用でツインルーム、可能であればバスタブ付希望

予約前に確認したいこと
・飛行機の到着が早朝着なので、チェックイン前に荷物を預かってもらえるか
・飛行機の出発が深夜初なので、チェックアウト後、空港へ向かうまでの間、荷物を預かってもらえるか


以上のことを問い合わせたいのです。
下記で間違っていないか（伝わるか）、添削をお願いいたします。

I would like to reserve a twin room for 2 persons, preferably with a bath tab.

Before making my reservation, I would like to inquire if I can leave my luggage at your hotel before the scheduled check-in time and from my checkout to the departure?

I will arrive at your hotel around 7:00 am ,and I will leave paris around 20:00 pm.
It would be very helpful if you would keep my luggage at your hotel till my check-in and to my departure.

To whom it may concern（担当者様へという決まった言い方です）、

I would like to make the following reservation:
Date of check in. April 21, 2010
Date of check out. April 26, 2010 (Total 5 nights)
Type of room. Twin room with bath tab
Number of room. one
Number of people. 2 Adults.

In addition, I would like to know whether I can leave my baggage before checking in or after checking out.

Plase inform me by e-mail or fax（ご自分の希望の形）as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time.

とこんな感じでしょうか。
バスタブがあった方がいいならはっきりそういうべきです。「あればうれしい」という言い方は日本ではいいですが、外国ではどっち着かずになってしまい、相手が困ります。また、人数は子供料金などを設けているところもありますので、大人か子供かこれもはっきりと知らせた方が宜しいです。荷物に関しては個人情報（飛行機の出発など）は最初から知らせる必要はありません。預かってもらえるかどうかをまず確認すべきです。たぶん相手から預かる、預かれないという答えと一緒に、無料か有料か、またチェックイン前の場合、本人が外出中でも荷物を部屋まで運ぶサービスがあるなど知らせてくれると思いますよ。

ただ読んでいてすこし冗長に感じました。　回りくどいと相手に感じさせないリズムと心地よさも必要。　あなたの力ならちょっと気をつければ出来ます。

何でも完璧に準備しようという心構えは立派です。しかし、あなたほど英語が出来たらどんな問題が起こっても迅速に対応出来ます。　大丈夫です。　海外旅行は問題が起こるから楽しいのです。　ちなみにETAとはExpected Time of Arrival, ETD は　Expected Time of Departureの略です。　ご参考まで。

フランスであれば、おそらく受け手も英語が母語ではありませんので。

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to make a room reservation between April 21 and 26/2010, for 5 nights. The room type is twin and the room with a bath is preferred.

But there are a couple of questions before making reservation.
1)Can I check in our luggage before your official check in time? Because our arrival is earlier than the official one.
2)Also, can you keep our luggage until we leave your hotel? My departure is late nigh.

For your reference, my schedule is arriving at your hotel around 7am, and leaving for Paris around 8pm. It would be very helpful if you keep my luggage while my stay.
