関係代名詞、関係副詞の区別が難しいです

みなさん今晩は、質問させてください。
関係代名詞と関係副詞の区別が難しいです。

問)関係副詞を書きなさい。
Kumi wanted to live in a place ( where ) she could see the ocean.

分解すると
Kumi wanted to live in a place.
She could see the ocean there.
これをもしwhich, in whichを使おうとしたら
後ろの文はどんな文になりますか?

Do you remember the time when we first met?
=Do you remember the time at which we first met?

Do you remember the time?
We first met at atは時間を表すatだと思いますが、
最後はat that timeがくるのでしょうか?

また曜日ならon、場所ならin、atでしょうか？

Jim was born on the day when his father went to Paris.
分解するとこんな感じでしょうか?
Jim was born on the day.
His father went to Paris then.

Kumi wanted to live in a place in which he could see the ocean.

Kumi wanted to live in a place (which) she could see the ocean.
→ Kumi wanted to live in a place. She could see the ocean in the place.

... We first met AT THE TIME.
at the time か at that time かは別に決まりはないですが、
普通は the で説明します。
だから、上も in the place としました。

＞曜日ならon、場所ならin、atでしょうか？
まあ、そういうことです。
場所でも on のこともあります。

Jim was born on the day.
His father went to Paris then.
でいいですが、
His father went to Paris ON THE DAY.
でもいいです。

His father went to Paris on the day.なら名詞なので
whichを使うと言うことでしょうか?例えば
Jim was born on the day on which his father went to Paris.
Jim was born on the day which his father went to Paris on.
こんな感じでしょうか?
