... と言えるかな？^^;

... なら

面白い質問につい参加してしまいました。

参考までに、
Clintonは第何代の大統領だった？→　What number president was Clinton?
は辞書にあったよ。
２代前なら→　Who was the president before the former president?　で逃げれるよね。
３代前は・・・
→　Who was the president three number before (the current one)?
でなんとか通じないかな。

英語では、"三代前の ..." という表現はしないと思いますよ。

三代前の大統領 : the forty-first President

... と表現するのが、最も自然だと思います。
あ、アメリカの場合ですが。。。^^

一代前がジョージ・W・ブッシュ。
二代前がビル・クリントン。
三代前がジョージ・H・W・ブッシュ。
