日本文から英文への翻訳

下記の日本文を英文にしていただけますでしょうか。
今の段階で英文にできている個所とできていない個所があります。
そして以下の文章を一つの流れある文章にしたいと思います。
日本文が不十分かもしれませんが宜しくお願い致します。


彼らは、結婚して1年になります。
（Thay have been married for a year.）

彼らは、結婚記念日を兼ねて夫の出張先であるシンガポールに行く予定です。
（Thay 'll go to Singapore for partly their wedding anniversary and partly on hasban's business trip. ）
＊兼ねてというニュアンスがよくわかりません。

彼らは、そこで数名の知人と会って結婚記念日を祝う予定です。
（They'll meet same friends there and・・・）

A氏&B氏は、彼らが昔イギリスで出会った古くからの友人です。C氏は、夫の新しい同僚です。
（訳せませんでした。）
＊上の文章と続くように英文にできたらと考えています。

They 'll go to Singapore partly for their wedding anniversary and partly on the husband's business trip.

They'll meet some friends there to celebrate their anniversary.
A and B are old friends they met in the UK. C is the husband's new colleague.

日本文が曖昧でご苦労されたと思います。特に「兼ねて」という日本語的な言い回しなど・・・。

To celebrate their wedding anniversary, they will travel to Singapore where her husband is staying for his business strip.

Mr. /Miss. /Mrs. A&B know each other since they met in England many years ago. Mr. /Miss. /Mrs. C is my husband's new co-worker.

PS: Japanese word “兼ねて”is not applicable for direct translation in English, because “wedding anniversary” is their main objective go to Singapore. You should clarify the meanings of some Japanese. Who are "they?"

「兼ねて」というニュアンスを英語にすると少し難しいようですね。
やはり直訳ではなく、英語に合わした日本文に組み替える必要がありました。

Thayというのも名前を明確にしていなかったのもいけませんでいした。
