A magnet is any object which produces a magnetic field, particularly a bar or U-shaped piece of

ferromagnetic material. A magnetic field is the effect of a magnet on objects around it.

The strength of the magnetic field at a point is a measure of effect that the magnet will have at that

point.

磁石とは磁場を創出する物体であり、主として棒状あるいはU字型の強磁性体を指す。

磁場とはその物体が磁力の影響を及ぼす範囲のことである。

ある一点における磁場の強さとは、その一点で磁石が持っている磁力の量のことである。

磁石とは磁界を生み出す全ての物質を言い、特に棒、又はU字体の強磁性体のものである。

　磁界とは磁石がその回りに与える効果を言う。　一点での磁界の強さとは、磁石がその一点に与える効果の測定を言う。
