挿入疑問文につきまして

What do you think + 平叙文になるような形式の疑問文への理解が
ひまひとつですので、何卒サポートいただけないでしょうか？

例えば、How long do you think will take to get there? となるのは分かりますが、

１） What do you think how long it will take to get there?
と言っても意味はくみ取れるような気がしますが、何故これはダメなのでしょうか？
つまり、ひとつの疑問文の中でWhatやHowやWhereなどが混在するのはあり得ない
と理解すべきでしょうか？どうしてもなら、分けて言うとかでしょうか？
eg. What don you think of this? How loing will it take.....? みたく。

2)　How do you think? とは言えず、Howなら、How do you feel? とfeelがくる
と教わりましたが、以下なら言えますでしょうか？

How do you think they will move the huge rock?
How do you think her mother eats foof without her teeth?

すみません、２度役割、というのは私なりの説明であって、

普通には挿入で、疑問詞は直接的には後につながるもの。

だから、What do you think of ～? のような表現と関係なく、
後ろで使う疑問詞のみを考えて、前に持ってくる、
do you think は挿入で関係ない、のように単純に考えればすむことだとは思います。

＞How long do you think will take to get there?

ではなく、
How long do you think it will take to get there? だと思います。

＞１） What do you think how long it will take to get there?
のような英語は使えません。

この種の英語は、how long という疑問詞が直接的には it will take XX to get there の
XX の部分を尋ねる疑問文を作りながら、同時に think に関連し、
think について、yes/no で答えるのでなく、疑問詞に対する答えとなるような構造です。

すなわち、ひとつの疑問詞で２度役割を果たすべきもので、
２つに分けることはできません。

だから、この疑問詞はいきなり、How do you think about it? となる誤りと違って、

How do you think they will move the huge rock?
How do you think her mother eats food without her teeth?

であれば、how は本来、they will move ～などに直接かかりつつ、
think にかかるので、正しいことになります。
