間接疑問について

Who do you think is the writer of this novel?
これは間違ってませんか？Who do you thinkときたなら後ろの語順はthe writer of this novel isではないんでしょうか？

　Who is the writer of this novel? は the writer of this novel が主語で「この小説の作家は誰ですか」とも，who が主語で，「誰がこの小説の作家ですか」とも解釈できます。

　前者と解釈すれば，間接疑問文は who the writer of this novel is となりますが，後者と解釈すれば，who is the writer of this novel is で SV の語順になっていますので，このままで間接疑問文になります。ちなみに，SVC で特に，C が the ～と限定されている場合は S＝C が成り立ちますので，どちらが主語でも意味はほとんど変わりません。

Who do you think is the writer of this novel?
となっただけです。
