簡単な訳なんですが、

外人の知り合いがメールで
自分はアナゴが好き　といってきました。私は、
「おお、アナゴとかよく知ってるね。私もアナゴは好きだよ。アメリカでもアナゴ料理食べるの？」

といいたいのですが、訳を教えて下さい。
自分なりに訳すと、
最初から分からないのですが、、、I like アナゴ too. American people eat アナゴ food?
です。
教えてくださいお願いします。

それでオッケーです。

最初のところは「Oh, you know anago!」でいいです。「American people eat アナゴ food, too?」というふうに「too」を付ければ、あなたの言いたいことは完璧に伝わります。
