英文の和訳の問題

Background assumptions like this one - often unspoken but nevertheless influencing our opinions -are called presuppositions. A large part of philosophy is about uncovering presuppositions, bringing them into the light in order to examine them to see what they are worth. If the above objections to the "morality is private" view have any force - and I think they do - this should make us ( ) the underlying presuppositions concerning the nature of moral judgments. They may not be like judgments of taste at all.

載せてらっしゃる和文が、なんだか直訳というか機械的な感じがするのですが・・・・翻訳ソフトみたいな。

自分で和訳したものなのでしょうか？
もう少し日本語として直せばＯＫなのでは？？？
長い文を訳すときはいきなり完成させるのでなく、中間訳を作って、それから修正するといいらしいです。

こういう長たらしい英文は前から訳すコツを覚えると便利です。

このような背景となる仮定は、－しばしば言及されないが、それにもかかわらずわれわれの意見に影響しているのであるがー前提条件と呼ばれている。
大部分の哲学は前提条件をあからさまにすることであり、どのようなことに価値があるかを検証するために、それらを白日のもとにさらすことである。
もし、「道徳とは私的なものだ」という見方に対する上述したような反論がなんらかの効力があるのならー私はそう考えているのだがーこのことはわれわれに、道徳的判断の性質に関する基盤となっている前提条件を（明らかに）させることになるはずである。
道徳的判断は趣味嗜好の類ではまったくないであろう。

（　　）内は多分uncoverなどの動詞が入ると思います
