という例文がありました。the 比較級,the比較級の形だとおもうのですが、ふたつめなぜthe greater のうしろすぐにthe effectがきてるのでしょうか。hasの後ろにない理由はなんでしょうどういう倒置ですか？

節内のどの語にかかるのか、修飾関係が判らなくなるでしょう？

という文が基本ですが、次の変形が考えられます。

◯　The older a tradition is ,the greater is the effect it has upon us.　やや固苦しく冗長な感じ。
　
◯　The older a tradition is ,the greater the effect is.　"it has upon us"が無くても意味は通じ簡潔です。

☓　The older a tradition is ,the greater it has the effect upon us.　意味は通じなくありませんが、聞いてとても不自然です。

The older a tradition is, が A tradition is the older, じゃなく

倒置になっているのと同じ理由です。
「The 比較級 〜, the 比較級 〜.」という形にすることで、
この構文だとうことが判るのです。

the effectは名詞なので比較級ではないとかんがえました。the比較級SVCの順でない理由が知りたいのです
