When George,Prince of Wles and future King of England,first visited Bringhton in 1783,he rented a farmhouse.Four years later,he had a villa built.After several renovations,the Royal Pavilion,as it is now known,took on its present mosque-like from,Indian on the outside and Chinese inside.In 1850,the building was sold to the town of Brimghton and it is now open to visitors.Of special interest are the banqueting room,music room,drawing rooms and kitchen.
