avoid は目的語に動名詞を取る。avoid acting としなければならない。

前置詞 of の後だから、名詞形の inconvenience としなければならない。

(2) him to go

approve of の後だから、him going と動名詞にしなければならない。

(4) are

The number が主語なので、is にしなければならない。

news は不可算名詞なので、 a をつけてはいけない。
