　彼はすべての状況を冷静に、そしてマダム・ジレンスキーを医者が患者を見るように （冷静に） 見る必要がある。

　* all that という表現は、辞書に出ているかもしれません （私の持ってる辞書には出ていました）

　* tend には他動詞として 「見張る、番をする」 という意味があります （おそらく辞書には載っていただろうと思います）。
