Torakusu Yamaha was born On May 20, 1851 in Wakayama of Japan.

He used to be good at handling machinery since he was a little kid.
When he was an elementary school child, he repaired an organ and then got interested in the structure of organ and began to learn it.
Finally he established Nihon Gakki Manufacturing Company in Hamamatsu, which produced mainly musical instuments as pianos in early days.
After Yamaha died, the company made a start of manufacturing motor cycles, livingware ans sporting goods as well.
The company changed its name in the year of 100th anniversary of foundation.
That was YAMAHA.
The reason why I chose YAMAHA is how much I like playing the piano.
That's all I've got.
For a finale I'd like to mention Torakusu Yamaha's quote:
Man cannot success in business unless he cannot be loved by man.
